Granola Clusters & Fat Content

Granola Clusters are a nutritious whole grain cereal, high in fibre and heart healthy monounsaturated fats. The fat contained in Granola Clusters is naturally occurring in the oats and nuts (Vanilla & Almond Flavour only). The other fat comes from the process used to make the oat clusters. The fat helps to combine the oats and rice puffs used in this process Granola Clusters has similar or lower fat content to that of many other toasted muesli's.

Granola Clusters is lower in sugar than many other commercial breakfast cereals (e.g. Crunchy Nut Cornflakes, Crunchy Nut Clusters, Kellogg's Komplete and Nutri Grain). Sanitarium has a strict corporate nutrition policy, which limits the amount of added sugar in our products.

Granola Clusters & Coeliac Disease

Granola Clusters is not suitable for people with coeliac disease as it contains wheat and barley malt extract, which both contain gluten.

Granola Clusters, is a nutritious wholegrain cereal that is high in fibre and contains heart healthy monounsaturated fats and can be included in the diet of people with diabetes as a treat rather than an everday cereal. Weet-Bix would be a more suitable everyday eating cereal. When introducing a new food into your diet, it is a good idea to speak to your doctor or your dietitian about how it fits within your personalised eating plan.
